Temps are dropping back down tonight here in #Flagstaff. Never can get to comfortable when growing at altitude. ❄️Keeping an eye on the weather at all times will keep you prepared and your plants happy. If you have warm weather crops like squashes, c #Marigolds are one of the most underrated flowers in the #garden , yet one of my favourites! 🌼 These beauties are great for enhancing the growth of basil, broccoli, cabbage, kale, potatoes, squash and tomatoes when planted near by.

Marigolds also a #Mealprep the old fashion way!🍽
There’s something I still love about pulling out a cookbook and tossing through the paper pages. Depending on how i’m feeling I may take out an old family recipe to remind me of home and my roots. Or if i& Sunday market haul. Every week I start my grocery shopping off at our local #CSA to see what fresh and #localfood I can first.🥕🍅🥬

First peas from the farm this summer! This wasn’t even all of them. Peas are one of my favorite things to grown in the garden. They are pretty care free as long as seeds are sewn in moderate temperatures so they can germinate proper ♻️Living a more #zerowaste lifestyle in a day, or week, or year is like loosing weight over night.
