Making your own home-made granola is the so incredibly easy to do at home. I can’t believe it took me all these years to give it a try. I have tried a few different recipes lately, and have narrowed it down to this combination. You can use whatever nuts, seeds, or oats you have laying around the house. This is completely gluten free, protein packed, and paleo. I also used local honey, coconut oil, and vanilla, that’s it! You can have your very own granola ready to go in under 30 minutes. I love that this recipe is clean and simple, and zero-waste.

You can reduce your plastic by using reusable bags and buying your seeds and nuts in bulk at your local market. Once finished, I then store my granola in a glass mason jar, keeping my granola fresh for days if not weeks. If your in the need for more jars, save your left over peanut butter jars, or head to your local good will and i’m sure you’ll be able to find some that are affordable, no problem.

This granola recipe is paleo & keto friendly, grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar free! I always use local honey to support my fellow bee keepers. Honey is a powerful antioxidant that contains bee pollen. Research has shown that raw honey can kill harmful bacteria and fungus that lives within our bodies and gut. Humans having been using honey for centuries to treat all sorts of ailments. The honey in this recipe provides the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch once baked. If your wondering how to make this vegan, simply use maple syrup instead of honey.

As mentioned, I generally use whatever nuts and seeds I have on hand. I promise you can’t go wrong. Nuts and seeds are packed full of additional antioxidants, proteins, and healthy fats. Keeping that brain of yours healthy, and your body full.
